A numerology believer myself, I think August 8, 2008 would be a spectacular day to get married . Not only is the date full of eights when you see it written but if you add 8 +8+2+0+0+8= 26 2+6=8. The number
I remember trying to figure out what date would be the perfect for my own wedding, my husband thought it was crazy that I was putting so much time into investigating the perfect combination of numbers that would help make our marriage a strong and happy one full of love and vitality. So far, so good, after 11 years married, we are still very much in love and would love to renew our vows in the near future.
So, what do you think? Would you get married on this date?

This blog is about planning a wedding right? So why am I promoting elopement? Well, believe it or even if you plan to forgo the wedding and decide to elope, there are still certain things you need to plan. Its not as simple as you think that is why companies such as letsrunoff , protegeevents and others offer their service to those couples who just want to run away, have a private affair without a second thought.
You would think that eloping is as easy as 1,2,3 but think again. You still need to choose the place you two will get hitched, the paperwork involved, the announcements to your friends, decorations you may want, honeymoon…I guess getting married whether you decide to elope of plan a full fledge wedding is a lot of hard work. I hope this post didn´t freak any of you out and know are stressing even more about your elopement!! Not to worry, the most important thing is to have fun and be in love.

Ok, so the man (or woman) of your dreams just proposed, now what? What do you do next? There are so many decisions to be made such as the date of the wedding, the place, the theme…..Wait…..Do we need a wedding planner?
In movies such as the Wedding Planner, we see how Jennifer Lopez is the perfect little wedding planner and we can’t imagine how a wedding could ever be held without one. And so we must ask ourselves, would it be difficult to do everything yourself, without the help of a professional? I guess the answer to that depends on your budget, creativity, your willingness to work your butt off and most of all your passion for stress!
A good wedding planner not only has the necessary experience to help you with everything you need but they also have an in with many different wedding providers that offer them a discount deal you would not be able to get. (Yes, true, that doesn’t mean much because you have to pay the wedding planner anyway…but think you are saving not only time but your body from stress).
Nowadays, most couples work or attend school and don’t have much time left to take care of all those minimal details that are involved in the planning of a perfect wedding. So, its your choice, I always opt for the easy way out when I can, because I have better things to do, like enjoy life!
